Hey everyone, the tranny in my jeep went out and I was curious if anyone has a recommendation on where I can get a good 44re used or rebuilt for a good price? I can swap it out myself so I would like to find something a little better than OEM. But I would be happy with a low mileage used. I have searched the web high and low, and can only come up with used trannys from the east coast. It makes me a bit nervous buying something off the internet that is being shipped across the country. But if someone has had good luck with a website Id like to hear about it. Thanks!

I've used on line salvage yards. The price was good. I got a front axle from Oregon.
