As you know, through George's efforts I'd say we have a pretty positive relationship with the USFS.

Last weekend we were at the loon lake rest rooms airing down for our beginner run and I ran in to two rangers. we spoke about the trail (Rubicon) and work we had done on our trail with them. They were impressed and asked if we'd be interested in taking them out on the Rubicon for a day run, either all the way across or something like, to Spyder and back or to Buck island and back. I thought it was pretty cool they'd ask us for that. I said, SURE! i gave them our site address and my personal e-mail. They said the'd e-mail me in a week or so to follow up. So, if anyone's interested in running some USFS rangers around the Rubicon for a day (weekday, most likely), just post up here and we'll wait to hear from them about some dates.

This will be just an easy cruise and hopefully an interaction where they discuss the issues their facing.
