Does anyone see anything with which I may have issues with the Popo while driving on the street? I never had issue in GA, but every state can be different. I guess my biggest concern would be the lack of tire covereage in the front. Tube fenders and a full-width axle took care of that. I'm working on the front license plate holder.

Offline I've seen guys get away with a LOT worse. It's going to depend what cop you drive past, and if he had his Starbuck's coffee and AM/PM doughnuts yet.

Online Rob is the expert, but I don't think front tire coverage is part of CA motor vehicle law...

You'll probably find out when you try to register it here. When I brought in my car from Nevada, they came outside and give it a looking over.
Don't know exactly what they look for though.

Took a gamble with the DMV today. A little small talk with the young lady and no problemo. Unless the vehicle is plain ole' unsafe to where they check the "refer to CHP" box on the form, she only seemed to care about the odometer (sure, that's accurate 😀 ) and making sure the VIN numbers matched the title. Easy breezy.

Offline Mine is 40 inch tires and a lot worse than yours with the lack of tire coverage. Like John said, you can get a ticket, but it just depends on the cop..You know those Cops

It'll be interesting to see how it goes through the Rubicon on one of their "maximum" type enforcement weekends. I've been thinking I need to get my windshield fixed. Last year on Pirate they were talking about lots of tickets for cracked windshields and missing front license plates.

My buddy Joe got a cracked windsheild ticket at Gatekeeper right when we were going in on his green stickered rig. 😯
