I think you ought to plan for 37's. With your fenders you will be close to having clearance. With a spring under you may need the extra clearance with the larger tube dia. of the 60. The cost of building a solid 44 for the front would most likely be more than the cost of a G2 or rock jock 60. A terra 50 might be a cost effective option. The solid 44 front axle that my friend has is like a 60 with supersized C's with a 44 R&P. I think he should have put in a 60. ( I hope he decides to sell it to me when it breaks. 40's and a hemi it has to ,right? ) He must have got a great deal on the housing and had most of the other stuff hanging around.I think a 44 with a thick wall tube and 35 spline shafts would be ok in the rear for 35's. That said buy the most strength for the dollar. Axle width, wheel offset, tire size. Think it through so you won't have to build it again like most of us. I wish I would have known how week the front TJ 44 housings were before I built mine.

Start shopping Pirate and other boards..Built axles for YJs are all over the place and pretty cheap. If you hold out, you will probably find a set that you can just bolt up and go..

guy wants 7500 or less and its got 44 front and 60 rear with a LS1 engin to boot... you could probably take both axles and still make you money back selling the rest of the parts
