Thought I'd move this from the other thread.

The items in green are complete...

1. 1" Body Mount Lift - installed. (finally fixed an old problem where I had to cut one of the bolts. Drilled it out this time and was able to get a new nut on top. what a PITA that was!)

2. 1" Motor Mount Lift - they came bare metal so putting a coat of paint on them. I have one old motor mount loosened and ready to come out.

3. Tranny mount and torque arm bushings for #4 - still need to pick one of them up on Friday.

4. [color=#008000]Teraflex Belly-Up, Oil Pan, and Transmission skids - to be installed. I'm hoping I won't need to re-clock my Stak. I'm going to need to fab the transmission skid a little since it's made for a TJ because the YJ has the stupid crossover pipe under the tranny. (wish I knew the TJ rerouted that when I bought my headers 👿 )(old and dented Skid Row skid plate removed.)

5. Genright gas tank skid - picking up Friday.

6. MORE rear shock relocation brackets (to be used with the "other" part that is still on order).

Did the motor mount lift tonight. What a pain that was! 😯

First one was done in about 20 minutes. The second one was done in about 2 hours after finally getting the right bolt install sequence and some good ole muscle power to get everything to line up.

New mount installed:

19 year old mounts:

I was going to but had the old one off by the time I remembered. I'll take measurements tomorrow and calculate the difference between them to get a rough measurement.

Nice!! Everyone is just finishing up their projects. Kudos to you. I haven't done any of mine yet and Sue's motor will be here next week and am finally getting a little busy at work, so who knows when they will get done.

The Jeep has made it's long awaited return home this evening.

Front gears, drive shaft, traction bar, Stak support bracket, and pinion angle correction are all done. Thanks Joe for seeing the incorrect pinion angle! Jason said it was WAY off!

The ride home was SMOOOOOOOOOTH!!! 😀

Things I have remaining... replace rear main seal (oil is leaking there), install oil pan and transmission skids, replace all spring bushings, replace all spring bushing bolts and sleaves with larger grade 8 greasable bolts and sleaves. I broke one of the grade 5 greasable bolts. I'm also replacing the zerks on the bolts with flush style zerks since just about all of the zerks on my old bolts are bent or gone.

On the engine? Hopefully that's less miserable on a Jeep than most engines I'm familiar with...

On the 4.0L you just need to drop the oil pan to get to it. Found a good write-up about it here: http://www.dailydriventj.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=811

Thanks for posting that write-up. I've got some oil leaks I need to take care of too. One I know is the power steering pump but I think I've also got the dreaded rear main leak too.

Replaced the rear main seal, oil pan gasket, and valve cover gasket. Not too difficult but it did take some time.

Fred, if you decide to do yours I have plenty of the Mopar Gasket Maker left over.

Oil pan removed:
