Half day run question?

Historically the club has done half day runs. This is the day after New Year’s. When everybody has time off.

Has anyone driven up Highway 80 this past week? Does signal peak have snow on the top? Might be a good drive for a half day!

I went to Austin last week pm I80, & it appeared there was so much snow in the upper regions of Signal Peak that you wouldn't make it to the top. Couldn't tell on the trail the way up, but with enough side slope, it would be a guess. The forecast is for it to snow this Wednesday thru this W/E, I would look for a good/safe turnaround spot.

Traditionally, the 1/2 day run was out to North Bloomfield and Malakoff Diggings.
