My Tundra has 6 months left on its lease. Now I have to decide if I want to keep it and find financing, or trade it in on another lease. Hmmmm...

I used to wheel a lot. . .

You spent the money on a lift and tires on a lease that you're not sure about? Do you have to take it back to stock if you don't buy it?

In unrelated Toyota news, I got the recall notice for my corolla yesterday. The computer isn't really important is it? 🙄

It's a nice truck. It's what you want right?

It's exactly what I want...right now. But it's my chance to get something different...but most likely I'll keep it. But, it's worth more on trade-in than I owe on it 😯

Interesting situation. Worth more on a trade than what is owed... Just put on a lift and tires... If that is the situation, you can probably sell it on craigslist for more than the trade-in value, pay off the lease and pocket the cash. Then you can either go shopping or start a vehicle fund for the next vehicle. Or you can get a loan and decide later what to do. Doing the trade-in or lease return is probably not a good idea.

I'm just thinking out loud...I'll most likely keep it. I got a great deal on it when I bought it and it's a perfect truck.

It's probably dirty by now. Trade it in for a clean one.

After much shopping around, there is nothing out there worth replacing my Tundra with. So, I plan to keep it and pay it off in the next few years. After it is payed off, I will buy a new Jeep and start building a new wheeler. Now I can dream about my ultimate [2 door] JK buildup for the next few years. :hack:

Why a two door?

What happens to the old Jeep?

So many questions.

Nothing happened to the TJ, it will just get handed over to my son in a few years. I'm keepeing the truck, so no reason for a four door. I just like the smaller Jeeps for wheeling purposes.

Since we are all dreamers,

What do you want to do to a 2 door JK? I think I would like a 2 door JK as well after my LJ dies.

Um...what?

I think I would buy a Rubicon and just do a few things to it to keep it driver-freindly and a capable mild wheeler. I already have a Jeep that I can go "Thrash", so it would be nice to have one that I could keep nice. I would...

Small long arm lift
35" MT/Rs
Hub conversion
Alloy shafts
CTM u-joints
Skid plates
Warn winch
Bumpers/tire carrier
Air compressor
