fall off a ladder this weekend putting up Christmas lights? I did but it wasn't my fault. My fold-up extension ladder failed and one of the pivot points didn't latch into place like it's suppose to. I've either broken or severely sprained my ankle and can't put any weight on it. It doesn't hurt as bad as when I broke my other ankle a few years ago so I didn't rush to the ER. I think I'll go get it checked out at the urgent care place this morning though.

You better stay off your feet for at least a week. I'll bring over a little bell so you can ring it any time you need something. That way Teddy can wait on you hand and foot. Woohoooo!!!!!

Bummer. Hope everything is all right. Sounds like it's time for one of those "Little Giant" ladders. 8)
Be careful hanging lights. My old boss' husband broke his back falling off a ladder hanging lights on the second story. She was out of town and I'm not sure how he survived. He'll never be the same.

Offline It turns out my ladder was recalled years ago because of this problem. Anyone else out there with the Krause fold up ladder to check to see if there's was recalled too. I got it locally but don't remember if it was Lowes or Home Depot.

Offline I went to Med 7 and they took xrays. My ankle isn't broken just badly sprained.
