Hello everyone,

Wanted to give a heads up that this coming meeting (April) is the cutoff date for paying your dues and maintaining membership.  If you don't get the whopping $20 to me this evening, your status on the form will drop to "bum" and we will strip you of all your worldly possession associated with the club.  This includes bragging rights that you are a "Posse Member"!!

Don't forget to bring fun, fantastic, exciting, new and gently used items for the raffle.  This is the major money raiser for our awesome club and it's always fun to get rid of stuff you no longer need, but it's even more fun to win stuff you mostly don't need! (Ha!)

I am bringing a stack of Liability Waivers for the new folks to sign.  So, if you've not signed one and I miss greeting you this meeting, hit me up and make sure you sign one.

See ya'll there.

Haha. For those of us that cannot attend the club meetings, what’s another way to pay our dues?

As a long standing, and very wise posse member often states: “I may or may not be there!”

Who is this famous quote from?

I don't know, but he sounds like a really smart guy.

I used to wheel a lot. . .

John Allen, chairman of Sierra Trek 2022-23, who is also the president of the Madhatters 4x4 club and his wife Rene may be at our meeting on Thursday to talk to us about volunteer participation at Sierra Trek. Can you please put this on the agenda and allot some time for this.

Thanks!

It was good to see you Greg!  Glad you made it!!!  You are still a member!!

It was a great meeting!

Jeff Root invited a couple guests; John and Renee from the Mad Hatters, to talk about what is happening with Sierra Trek.  I learned a lot!  Super fun couple that works very hard at putting this thing together.  Jeff will be posting details of their discussion in a different thread.

Tim brought some fun and fantastic guests as well.  Quincy Ford from Troop 1855 in Folsom came to speak and offer his services to rebuild the kiosk!!!! YES!!  I will be posting details on that in a separate thread as well.

Had a couple new attendees.  Hopefully we will see them again out on the trail!

If someone wasn't able to make the meeting but still wants to maintain their member status you can PayPal your moola to [email protected].

Dale wasn't broken or limping or even scared!! He and his Dodge made it out alive, but it was interesting in seeing his rig as well as hearing all the hairy details of the event!  Stuff can happen mighty quickly and unexpectedly!

It was really good to see everyone again.  See you soon!!

We will always take a free meal, but that is not necessary anymore!! . Just Pay the dues and come to the required meetings and a trail cleanup event and you are good to go!
