Monroe Transmission in Newcastle has a good reputation and they are honest. My son's Tacoma threw a transmission code. They reset it and tested it and said that it was probably a fluke due to overheating. He was a little low on fluid so $6.00 was the total charge for the free inspection and fluid. They have very good Yelp reviews:

Best upgrade you can do would be an auto to manual swap! Â
Otherwise this might be the time to justify the HEMI swap.
