Sue and I went to Bass Pro Shop in Manteca today to check it out. It is not worth the drive!!!! If you are in the area, stop by to check out the animal displays. The store has about 1/3 the inventory that Cabela’s has.
If you want to go check out an awesome store, go to Sheels in Reno. It is about 3 times the size of the Cabela’s store and the prices are better. They have everything under the sun when it comes to camping, fishing, hunting, bikes, boats, etc......There is even a 60 foot ferris wheel in the center of the store. Their fish aquariums make Cabela’s aquariums look like a joke and so does their animal displays. They have a mountain that is about 50 feet tall covered with stuffed animals from all over the world. You will need a few hours to be able to cover the entire store.
