Hey all,

long time no "type".... how are you all?
I'm missing your weather... I thought I'd write to share our club's toy run pic with you. We held it Sunday. Check em out! Winter wonderland that day it was....

Oh it's not that cold... around 0 (32F) I think the coldest is -5 (23F). That was actually our first snow fall this year... which is really odd. Usually it snows back in October.

This Sunday an arctic front supposed to move in - 🙁 talking about -20 (-4F) and -40 ish (-40F) with the wind chill factored in. But that should last only a couple of days....

How are things down there? You hold a toy run too, no?

Our toy run was a big success. Big turn out and lots of toys were collected. We didn't have snow, but it was in the low 30s I'm sure. I froze my butt off.

I used to wheel a lot. . .

Froze?? 😛 I didn't think it got down to the 30's there... shows what I know I guess....

There's a lot of buzz on our website about Colorado or Moab in 2010, perhaps I may partake in that one - never been there.... do you guys plan these sorts of trips on occasion? Any coming up?

A few of us do a trek down to the Hammers every year durring Spring Break.
If you have guys in your club that like "hard" wheeling, that's the place to go.
The scenery isn't much to look at, but the wheeling is second to none.

Hammers? Sounds like I have heard of that one b4... did they feature that on that Extreme4X4 tv show?
I've gotta stick to things a bit more tame at the moment (if this is the trail I am thinking of).

Oh, you should check out our "Pretty Rock" run last month...

I hope those links work for you... I was not on this run... but very much wish I would have been!

Should have been called "big 'ol crack that will swallow my Jeep" run lol
and what's with the monkey???

I used to wheel a lot. . .

ha ha... LOL

It's Pretty Rock because of the view at the end... You'll have to ask Gunther (Hi Lo Silver) about the monkey, he does that... crazy ol dood!

I thought Ryan with the Zuki was quite a trooper there....
