Besides turkey & ham what have you all had for meat for Christmas dinner? We'll be cooking a turkey but we always have two meats. In the past we've done ham or pork tenderloin but we're trying to think of something different. Any other suggestions?

We usually do a spiral ham. We've deep fried turkey's in the past. I'd like to try a deep fried Prime Rib sometime.

I forgot about tamales. Yum! One year we had a friends & family baking day and made untold dozens of cookies. One of our friends made tamales instead of cookies and they were so good. I remember her saying it was one of their family traditions.

The crown rib roast looked good. I googled for some pictures. But Teddi didn't seem too excited about the idea.

Spam? Always a good fall back plan.

I've heard of having prime rib for the holidays. I've never cooked a prime rib though. Do you generally cook that in the oven or could it be cooked out on the grill? How long does it take to cook?
