if a jeep leaves auburn heading east on i-80, and a toyota leaves truckee heading west on i-80...
They'd meet somewhere near Donner Lake
You guys have it all wrong. You need an Algebra question!
A Jeep is running 4.88 gears and 37" tires. He has a 5-1 Atlas T-case and an NV3550 Transmission with a 4.81-1 first gear. What is his crawl ratio? Be careful here, there may be some superfluous information included as well!
Still looking up "superfluous" before I can get to the math question . . .

Technically, I still don't think that's an algebra equation either. Just basic math. You would need to say:
A Jeep has 37" tires, 4.88 gears and a 4.81 first gear. What Atlas T-case would be required for a measly 117.364 crawl ratio for it to be official algebra. 😀
Yeah - This one sounds like we are on the right track!
Ok, A toyota has dual transfer cases, 38" boggers, and 5.13 gears. His Asai Transmission has a 4.63 first gear, and one transfer case is 4-1. What is the other transfer case ratio, if the total crawl ratio is 212.60?

Speaking of superfluous, is a work day on the horizon? When is the 4-1 install???

Simple, don't cook a hamburger - roast the tires!
I would expect this to come from someone who isn't a jeep owner!
He never said it was on a Jeep
