Simple answers:
No by-passes for the trail.
Google will get you a map and directions to the loon lake entrance. there is also a Wentworth springs entrance to the trail. Our group will see both entrances this weekend.

There is a bunch of information on the trail, and a lot of detailed information that you can't find on most other trails.
