Any of you guys on Facebook? I got a crash course this weekend. I don't plan to sign up...I'm not sure I want to hear about what everyone one is doing at a given moment. Just curious if any of you were addicted. 😀
I also learned what twitter was. Man am I high tech. 8)

Offline My wife just signed up on facebook 2 weeks ago. My brother and a couple other buddies have been on it for a while. I might sign up so I can keep in better touch with my brother and there are about 6 or 7 people on there I would like catch up with.

I've never even seen a facebook or myspace page. I always thought they were for teenagers

Guilty . . . .
I originally signed up to stay in tune with the kids. Now my entire family is on across the country so we communicate almost on a daily basis. Now old friends from 20 years ago keep finding me and sending "friend requests". It's like watching an explosion of networking in slow motion.
It was pretty consuming at first but has calmed down quite a bit. But then again, I have two sights open right now, Posse and Facebook . . . .

So I signed up yesterday. So far, I've heard from four people from High School, my wife, and one current friend. I'm not so sure about this whole thing.

Offline I ended up signing up about a month ago. One of my high school friends got me to join. They're already coordinating our 20 year reunion for next year through Facebook. More than half of our class is on there.
I'm not too active though. I posted some pictures of my Jeep from some of the runs but that's all.

I did see the family who had their facebook photos used for advertising in europe without their permission...

Hey guys!!!!
That's a permissions setting deep in the personal settings application. You can set it to "disallow" using personal information or property for advertizing purposes. It's pretty dishonest of them to assume it's ok to use your photos unless you specifically direct them not to.
But it's still a great resource for finding old friends.
