I've had a chance to use firefox for a few days now. I can tell you that it sucks just as bad as IE. It has problems remembering passwords and it won't allow me to open my Yahoo mail and some of my work functions. It is faster and I like the layout better, but I hate having to switch between IE and firefox when I want to do different things.
I used to wheel a lot. . .

You might need to check on a couple things in your options. Yahoo mail needs javascript to be turned on. If you've turned it off you will need to turn it back on. For the passwords, check your privacy options. You may have FF configured to clear your saved passwords.
I have run into certain things that don't work well for me in FF and have to revert to IE. My employer does their development for IE (IE 6 even) and they don't work correctly in FF.
