Their defense is AWSOME, across the board. To hold Manning down like they did was impressive. Unfortunately it is clear that their offense cannot answer the bell when the defense steps out of the ring.
Well, I gotta disagree just a bit. The O certainly stepped up last week against the Saints.
Remember, this is AGAIN the 5th staff in 8 years ... or some such thing. Also, there was no training camp or pre-season to speak of so not a lot of prep time for running routes. Remember last year, Smith couldn't pass because the offensive line had more holes than a sieve. What an improvement in a year.
The fact the D was so stingy was a huge factor on the season with no doubt, but the O did not give up the ball and was very efficient. Yesterday, the only 2 turnovers were special teams and was the same guy leading to only 6 NYG points (could have been WAY worse).
Wait until next season when these guys are in their second year playing together. I see some good stuff developing in SF.

As President, I feel it is my position to maintain an even keel!
I forgot I'm no longer a "regular" member...
You are a 'regular' member, you just run meetings. It's a 4x4 club not a political stage. Spill it man and stop playing PC like it matters

The president is allowed to have and voice an opinion in my book!
The 49ers need a #1 receiver. Didn't they only have one pass to a WR yesterday? And it was only good for 3 yards or something ridiculous like that? Unacceptable. Plenty of that is Smith, but those guys have to get open and cover some ground when they make a catch. I'm hopeful for the free agent market this year. I think they've shown that they are contenders. Maybe that'll help attract some talent.
I'm sorry it's over, but I was very happy with this season. Coming into it I had low expectations. I was really hoping they could go 8-8.

So, I bought a T-shirt last night. It has a pinata on it. Above the pinata says, "el guapo's" Below the pinata it says, "we've got a plethora".
When I finalized my order it said, "you're now more than famous, you're infamous".
Movie? This is a slow pitch for those of you beginners out there!
