Make sure everybody is careful whenn wheeling on Fordyce this time of year. The river crossings can rise up pretty fast and become dangerous. Rob got stuck on the other side this year and had to wait for it to drop. A couple of years ago, a bunch of us Posse members got stuck running the whole trail (until 3:30 am) because we couldn't cross back over. Just play it safe and be careful.

Here's an article about a local that swamped his FJ, wheeling alone, with his whole family in the rig. Stupid is as stupid does. I'm just glad they were all okay.

I was reading about that on Pirate. The whole family was airlifted by helicopter off of the top of the FJ. 😯

Was that the weekend we were working on Strawberry? Some of the guys were talking about someone being stranded.

That was not a fun trip!!! I never thought about the increased snow melt and run off causing the increase in water flow in the afternoon, but that makes perfect sense now. 😕

This one happened yesterday. The one that was the same day as the Strawberry maintenance run involved Rob lol
