Offline WOW! Is this what happens when someone moves "to the country"? 
Where are the exposed pipes? I thought everythign was below ground. Is your house on a slab, or raised foundation?

Offline Haven't had a problem with it in the past year...must be colder this year...so much for that global warming crap.

I insulated mine and wrapped them with heat tape, but it gets colder up here. I just have to remember to plug it in when I get worried. Also, keep an eye on the pressure switch for the well. It probably has a 1/4" tap onto the pipe. It freezes real easy. Ask me how I know. My well is in a little shed and I leave an old fashioned light bulb on when it gets really cold.
