Thanks for the offer Rob. Let me think about it.
So you mention A1 is that just the design of the upper? Compared to an A3 which I'm assuming is a newer series design?
I'm trying to learn a lot and not make any mistakes buying a gun. From what I'm finding on Bravo's site is that I think I want a mid length 16 inch upper with some time of rail setup.
Um...what?

Here is the difference between the A1, A2, A3
A1 is the typical carry handle rear sight, and triangle front sight.
A2 has the fixed triangle front sight, but flat top rear sight/removable carry handle.
A3 is all top rail - no front sight, no rear sight. The top rail may not be constant from rear to front, MOD 1 is famous for having a solid top rail from front to back - this allows better placement of optics. you should not mount a scope half on the front rail and half on the forearm rail - it can be inaccurate.
