As I've heard the next zombie apocalypse is upon us, should the club be exploring new digs in preperation for such an event? It seems we do have some extra funds to invest.

I run the warning sticker on my jeep currently in preperations for such an event (to avoid potential legal implications).
Warning: In the event of zombie apocalypse, this vehicle will be used as a weapon

I don't have the warning sticker, but should probably get one.
Willie and I did get Ruger 10/22s recently and are turning them into our Zombie Defense Weapons ... http://www.zombiepreparedness......g/node/142

I was looking at those houses earlier today, that first castle is way cool. But as you know, if you've watched enough zombie movies, a couple of two-by-fours accross the windows will serve you just as well. That leaves you more money to spend on food and supplies.
A .22 is probably a decent choice for a zombie weapon as you can put a lot of rounds through it and you can carry a lot of ammo for it; cheap to stock up on too. I personally have three .22 rifles, a 30.06 rifle, a .40 caliber pistol, and a .357 pistol. But, the most important zombie weapon of all is my compound bows. Bows are quiet and don't attract more zombies. And when the ammo stores all get sacked, everybody leaves the arrows 🙂
I used to wheel a lot. . .

My most important zombie weapon is my car! With everyone raiding the ammo stores, I'll be picking up jerry cans and heading off to chevron! Plus, I can take out large swaths of zombies with a single jerry can and a flare (yet another items that raiders pass over).
It's always good to have a strategy...

Good plan... 8)
I don't know. That 30.06 could stop Brad awful quick.
If I wasn't a law abiding California citizen I'd most certainly own one of these for my 10/22

I've actually had great luck with this so if you're looking to keep something disassembled and separated for your 10/22 this might be a good choice:

I am heading to Reno the 12th after the meeting through the weekend if anyone needs me to pick anything up for them in Free America
Hmmmmm ... we might need to talk. I have a growing list of "upgrades" to my 10/22.
