So this is mainly for Fred, but I'm open to suggestions. 😀 Is there such thing as a Fred approved headlight? I use my headlight a ton. Tonight I was using it to take the garbage down and ended up needing my little "fredlight" because my headlight needs some help. Any suggestions?

Gorilla Tape might be the answer. But I want to hear from Fred too. Anything with Cree LEDs seem to be on the approved list.

I've got one of these Zebralight headlights - http://goinggear.com/index.php?main_pag ... cts_id=140
It's a very floody type of light with no real hotspot. It's great for working up close work or around a camp but doesn't do well for long distances. This one uses a single AA battery and has a warm/neutral tint emitter. They have others that use CR123 or 18650 batteries and/or cooler white emitters.
I don't have any experience with any other headlights.

Did you win one of the two I brought recently? Those headlights are 150 lumens. I think that would be bright enough for your trash voyages. Has anyone tried those headlights? Do we know who won them?

I just received this one from eBay. Works great...and cheap...
It does have a hot spot.
