Is that the Loomis Day Before Thanksgiving parade they always talk about on 105.1? I always thought that was a make believe parade.

Ya, it's the Day Before Thanksgiving Day Parade in Loomis. It keeps getting bigger every year. When we first started watching it, there was like a dozen entries. Now it's a good 45 minutes long.

I'd like to think he did it because he's a good sport and wanted to do something nice for the community of Loomis...but in reality, his boss (the turkey) probably said, "Rob, good to see you, put this chicken suit on." To which Rob replied, "Yes Sir."

I was set up!!! I think John is good friends with the Sheriff and they conspired to do this to me It's all good Putting on a chicken suit beats the heck out of being stuck in that jail for the last year and a half. For those of you who didn't know, I was propmoted to a new position in the department. I am supervising our youth and community services devision and I started yeaserday. No more jail 
I now have my own office down in Loomis and work monday through thursday with weekends and holidays off 
You never know, "chicken man" might just show up on Fordyce one day 😀 😀

I have traded in my gun and sticks for an Ipad, desk, and a phone that seems to be chained to my ear theses days. I am loving the 8 to 5 hours and weekends off. Been a cop for over 20 years and don't really miss working the street anymore
