So an acquaintance of mine got arrested for the following:
F PC12022 Possession Of Machine Gun
M PC12031 Carry Loaded Firearm
F HS11359 Possess Marijuana/Hashish For Sale
F HS11360 Sale/Trans/Furnish Marijuana
If he's guilty, looks like he's gone for a while? First arrest (I think) but assuming "F" is for felony, is that three strikes in one arrest, is that how it works?
Sad story...I know the guy because he has a daughter Ry's age. He's wife is a good lady with bad taste in men. This was a train wreck most could see coming for a while. 🙁

Yes the F is for felony. I am not sure how the three strikes works but each code carries it's own sentence so depending on how it goes in court he can serve all the sentences at once or he may have to serve one after the other. So he is screwed, as he should be, no offense.
Um...what?

If he is convicted, he will most likely get a strike count on his rap sheet. No he will not get 3 strikes out of that. There is a formula that is used in determining strikes. There is a sentence enhancement for having a loaded firearm while transporting drugs for sale. Depending on any prior convictions, he might do a few years in state prison. If no priors, he will probably only do county time because they will plea most of those charges to lower counts.

No offense taken at all. I couldn't agree more. He's far from a friend. Just a guy I met once and got a weird feeling from. Wouldn't hurt my feelings if he wasn't around for a while. Mom needs to get her head on straight and get the heck out of Dodge!
