I decided to stay full width. I measured the 60 and it was 69 WMS. My 44 was 66 1/4. I will only be about 1 1/2 wider on each side than I was before. I will run 1 1/4 inch spacers in the rear. One of my decideing factors was that the axle lined up perfect full width and the caster was right on at 4.5, so it would have been more work to shorten it..The problem is that 78/79 Ford Dana 60 axles are hard to come by right now. No one has them, Superior, Alloy, or Yukon 🙁
