Have a nice Memorial Day everyone. Please take a moment to remember all those who made the ultimate sacrifice defending not only our freedom but the freedom of those in many other countries around the world. The Vietnam war ended a month before my 18th birthday. Several of my neighbors got drafted and served in Vietnam so a lot of us "kids" kind of assumed we would end up doing the same. My father served as a paratroop instructor during WWII and served in Japan during the post war occupation. He is pictured on the left in the below photo.
I want to thank all those in our club who also served and would like to ask them to acknowledge their service in this thread. They too could have been one of those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our great county. Thank you again for your service!
