Ok Guys I was told I had to update everyone on me. I will not be doing any Jeeping or anything else this year. why you ask I'll be having open hart surgery on May 3. so as you can imagine I'll be per-occupied for a while. And no its not clogged artery's I have a bad hart valve. if anyone has any question you can call me or Betty I already miss all you guys and will miss all the great tips that will happen this year. Keep your Rigs upright and every body be safe and keep healthy.

Gil, I'm very sorry to hear this news but I'm glad it is a treatable condition and I hope you have a speedy and full recovery. We will really miss seeing you on the trails. I know that Betty will be taking great care of you! Best wishes!

Be sure to ask for the high performance Titanium 3 angle cut valves. Maybe even a cam set up for wheeling.

Thank you all for the well wishes and good thoughts Dave I'll certainly look into the Robo cop option lol. Right now we are looking at have surgery on Mat 3 at the SF VA hospital but for now still a few more test to complete before that day. I'll try to keep the posse family as up to date as I can. I miss and love you all.

Wow Gil sorry to hear this but with medical technology now a days I'm sure it will be a quick surgery and recovery for you. Please let us know if you or Betty need anything even just a milkshake or something I'll be there for you guys.

Update on Gil:
He had open-heart surgery today.
When they opened him up, they actually did find he had a heart! 
So, they decided to go ahead and fix it. I don't have too many details, but I wanted to just let everyone know he made it through and is in ICU.
As details come in I will post them here.
(Miss ya'll! But hopefully will see you soon.)

It's a good day for the Gil (and Betty).
Gil's heart restarted by itself after surgery. Which is cool!.
They took the ventilator off within a few hours (as opposed to them suspecting he would need it longer).
He was able to talk with Betty on the phone last night - and he asked her to bring him a drink! So they left his witty personality in tact!
Betty hasn't gotten in to see him as of yet, but hopefully will soon.
As expected, he is in a lot of pain, last night being rough, but today is better for him and his doctors are all working to get him comfortable and on the road to recovery.
