Could have been a big bird hunting something. Maybe your cat was hunting the big bird. Hard to say, I'm sure you have a lot of creatures around your place. We've got Owls, Hawks, Turkeys, Possum, Racoons, Coyotes, Skunks, Deer, and who knows what else. I haven't seen a Big Foot yet, but when I do, I'm moving out.

Offline My pup was fearless too. He was out there snarling and barking. I thought great, the coyotes are going to eat the "good" dog. I should have thrown the "other" dog over the fence at that point

Offline I have the answer to your Buddy problem. Have Ben watch Old Yeller. While he is watching it, go outside and put baking soda and water around his mouth. Come back in. After the movie is over take Ben out and he will see that Buddy has gone rabid. He will now understand why you need to shoot him, like they did in Old Yeller 😀

Offline John, did you ever buy a spotlight? I was going through some parts bins I've got and ran across a rechargeable spotlight I haven't used in years. If it will hold a charge you can have it if you still need one.

I've got it on the charger now. I was thinking I'd bring it to the meeting but you're not going to be there are you? Want me to give it to anyone else to get it to you? I could bring it Saturday instead.

Offline I don't care about the critters, other than the dogs getting hurt. I do care that some people are scum bags and steal our belongings and could possibly hurt my family. It would be nice to know if it's coyotes, skunks, or scum bags making the noise. Plus, a picture of Big Foot might be worth a lot of money.
Besides, I've seen the arsenal you keep around your house...no room to talk 😛
