Looks like there's a new fire north of Grass Valley. I saw the smoke coming home. It isn't on any of the websites yet, but it was a pretty good plume of smoke. 😥

The news is reporting one up near Lake Oroville. I guess that's north of Grass Valley. I guess it's already burned one house.

We got stuck in traffic just above Auburn. As we got close, we saw smoke. Then the fire truck passed us. We must have just missed the accident. When we got up to it, the fire was out already. It was a big SUV (like Suburban) that had been wrecked and was totally melted by fire. There was no ambulance there 😯
