For the last few weeks I've been working on updating the look of our main website in collaboration with other club members, primarily John and Keane. Thank you guys.
It's not quite perfect yet but it's much better than our old web site. We'll continue to work on improvements as time permits.
So take a look at https://posse4x4.org

Looks good!
It's pretty nitpicky, but if the header between the main pages and forum matched it would make the site feel more unified. The colors are different and so is the text. Like I said it was nitpicky. I was doing some surfing and comparing our site to a hand full of other local clubs. We look darn good. Thanks for the hard work. I'm looking forward to people adding their own write ups.

Thanks Keane.
One of my goals is to get the main site, forum and gallery to all have the same header. Below that may be a little different but I think if the headers are the same it would make the whole site look much more consistent. The three parts of the website all use different software so its going to take a bit of time to get it all figured out.

And Technical Articles. We only have one!
Funny...I was cleaning up pictures on my hard drive yesterday and came across a bunch I took when we replaced the spring bushings on the 4Runner. I think we were planning an article.

Here's what's currently there for the 2008 year.
2008
* Sierra Trek, Winch Hill 5 - August 7-10, 2008
* Triple Trail Trek - July 25, 2008
The "*" gives it the bullet mark. The "" is the name of the wiki article. After the "|" is the displayed text. And the "" closes the link. The two single quotes before and after the date indicate the text inside should be italic.
Once you set up the new link you can just click on it to get to the edit window.

It needs to look like this! Does the * and [[ make the link automatically?

NICE β β β
I edited your article, take a look at it now. I've found that putting two blank lines between paragraphs helps visually separate them. If you don't like it feel free to take them out.

Just an fyi, on the row with the year, the "==" before and after the date make it a sub-heading with the larger font and the solid line underneath.
Another one of my plans is to write up a wiki tips & tricks article for common editing so you don't have to wade through the user manual, even though it is pretty good.

Another thing I should mention, I previously referred to the wiki users guide, if a member or prospect logs in to the main site with their forum userid the navigation menu on the left will expand and one of the new things is the wiki users guide. Members and prospects can add or edit the event write ups and technical articles.
