OfflineAnybody else been watching the show One Car Too Far on discovery? It's about getting a car out of rough terrain. They've been using a wrangler for the first two episodes. Kind of fun to watch. The car gets planted some where crazy and 2 guys have to find it and get it out only using the equipment that's in the car. Pretty cool I guess.
Um...what?

OfflineFunny that the complaining comments are that the show is just a jeep commercial.
If it was, wouldn't the show be using a current-model jeep rather than a 10-year old TJ? Also, breakage isn't a super good marketing approach. I'd give these guys a Call 2 duty SWB JK with snorkel if I were jeep.

Offlineive watched the 2 episodes soo far and I think its a pretty nifty idea i just can stand this bill wu guy. "The Driver" of the show street raced lambos and an H2..... ...street raced- and he wears a hat with his own name on it. Im surprised it dosn't have the size sticker left on and cocked to one side - either way ill probably continue to watch it

I think it's a pretty cool concept overall. Probably better to have a "TV" type person play the role...maybe. lol I'm curious how he came to picked though (Wu).
Survivor specialist gets the short end of the stick though, imo, b/c he does the most work.
Best comment so far by narration was 1st episode during the winching across the tree bridge. Winch has synthetic line and the narrator commented on how dangerous if it snapped under load. It's "uneducated" comments like that to be a concern for the general consumption out there.
I read somewhere that the purpose was to use a mostly unmodified 10 yr old vehicle to accomplish the challenge.
