SO, I don't know if you guys have a "pink bone" award for Fordyce, but lets figure this out. We just got back from a trip on Fordyce trail and the person who breaks, gets stuck, or does something stupid...

OK,
Dan had to be strapped first (I think before Eagle lakes turn off), Rob took 10 minutes, spotters, and stacking to get up the sluice to winch hill #1, Jim stuck in the mud.

Can the pink dice be awarded to non members? Maybe just chat board members?
I forgot about Dan's early strap, but, once I picked a bad line and had to have a strap so I'll let that one go.
I'm leaning toward Jim. That was one heck of a stuck, and the look on their faces when they realized there was no "clean" way out of it was priceles. 😀

Offline I'm inclined to let Jim off the hook for his deep mud hole stuck.
He didn't bury the axles and he winched out under his own power.

he did have the punctured MTR though...
and the overheating

Now now, let's get this correct. Larry only put 1 rock under my tire to back up. There were no spotters involved. I picked my own line up. Where I got hung up only took about two minutes. It still only took me about 5 minutes to get up the hill. First person up the hill picks the line for everyone else. Had I not got stuck there, surely one of you guys would have. Is that enough excuses yet? Sound like anyone else in the club we know 😀
Oh, and yes I did get my a$$ chewed by Sue for bouncing her back and forth on the rocks I was stuck on and not letting her out of the Jeep the first time she asked. I will never do that again 😯

In Rob's defense I did only put one rock in the hole. But he was his own spotter. 🙄
I can’t vote for Jim, because I would have been in the same exact spot that he was if I had driven. 😯
The youngster (norcal) rocked all day. No vote for him. 
Keane, Justin, Tom, where they really even there? They were so quit I didn’t even hear them. Oh wait I do recall hearing a girl scream (Justin) coming across the off camber spot. Oh that may have been me. 🙁
John is the Master, and he didn’t break anything. 
All in all I think the trip was awesome.
But if I have to vote, sorry Dan, two straps and a flat tire.

Motor is fine. Oil looks good after the change. I replaced the fan clutch, flushed the radiator and I'm back to normal.
You guys will probably raz me for this, but I took the carpet out hosed it down good, sun dryed it and put it back in.

I still have the carpet in the 4Runner. It just means you're classy! Glad to hear there wasn't any long term damage!

Jeez, put me on the spot. Now im the last one to vote. I think ill vote for mtngoht. Yea, he got stuck and pulled himself out but all the overheating was what got me to vote for him. I think he is going to have to spend the most out of us to get up and running again. Did mud get in his engine? Oh and didnt he get a flat too?
