That was a pretty good storm that just blew over. Luighting flashes every 2-5 seconds. Heavy rains too. How was it on your end of town?

I used to wheel a lot. . .

We got a little rain and some flashes, but the show to the north was KEWL.

Looked like loomis got zapped pretty good.

Hopefully this doesn't lead to fires like last summer :yikes:

We got a pretty impressive light show but not as much rain as I thought we would get. The constant rumble of the thunder was what impressed me most.

Our beagle has always been afraid of thunder. We gave her some calming pills we got from the pet store but she was still shaking and hiding under the bed.

Looked impressive on our end, but we missed most of the fun. The lightening kept lighting up the entire mountain. We got hit a bit harder later and then again first thing this morning.

Huge downpours at our house. Lots of lightning just to the east of us. It rained nearly all night, and was raining this morning when I left for work. We saw the 3AM lighning show as well.

Did you see the size of the hail that came down? 😯 😯 I think Loomis got hit pretty hard. I sat outside for hours watching it having to plug my ears sometimes because the thunder was so loud. I decided to go inside around 11:00 when the electricity was making the hair on my arms stand up. 😕

I was out in it a good portion of the night and it seemed like I just following the storms. There were time were it would be an absolute downpour for 20 minutes straight. I was heading north on Hwy 70 watching the show when the National Weather Alert came across for mid Sutter County asking people to get inside because of high winds, pouring rain, 1/2"size hail and lots of cloud to ground lightening. I was glad I turned East 10 minutes later because you could tell coming up on that storm that it was not going to be a fun drive.
