Logan has been busy in the yard and he wanted you all to see some pictures of what he is building...

He is working out on this whenever he can. Avoiding chores and out until dark (and freezing).

He wants to have one long continueous track. Using reverse is a point deduction. He also wants to put up strings and flags along the edges and if you hit one, you lose more points. So far, it is very cool. He put in a couple of water pits along the way to get tires wet and slippery on the rocks.

I will shoot a video Monday and post it up,

Get your rigs ready!!! After this next snow melts, we may need to have a play day and BBQ in Pollock Pines 😀

Having not been in any kind of competition before, is this a crawler course?

Yes, this is a crawler course. But we have plenty of room for a short course track as well. I was moving dirt with a tractor today, looking into building a short track about 1/2 the normal size for starters.

Looks 1/10 scale, or is it 1/18?

Looks like a lot of fun!

I agree. I've got to admit I really wasn't seeing much of the draw to the whole RC car thing but that looks like it could be a lot of fun!
