How are they conducting the auction?
If it's via email, put you bid in, then flood the email server with thousands of emails and lock up the server.
If it's writing your price on a paper out in the open, put your price, then hover and look intimidating. A little flatulence never hurts to clear a room either . . . .

What strategy are you going with?
I've got some time still. I've got to pick out the right truck. 😀 I have however started eating large quantities of beans and dairy products (I'm lactose intolerant) just to be sure I'm ready for the big day. I'll make sure and sit near you at the next meeting so you can critique my technique.

So far I'm having a real problem with the silent part. I guess practice makes perfect.

We have a couple of Dodges and a couple of Fords that we're getting rid of. Most are early 2000s 1/2 tons. If the trend in past years holds true, mleage is typically less than 100k. With any luck, I'll be able to land one for under 2k. The auction is still a couple of weeks away, I was just taking advantage of the board working properly to get some advice.
I'm still looking at other trucks, but there are some real sleeze bags selling vehicles out there. I need a wood/work truck so looks don't matter a whole lot, but price does. The 4Runner is not happy towing the trailer all over. Who moves into the country without a truck?
