I am aware of the forum acting slow. I have put in a "ticket" to the server company and they are working on it. It gets lighting fast and then slow again. My guess is they are switching between servers during peak hours. The only response I have so far is a possible upgrade which I am investigating. Bear with us...

Do they do backups at some interval that coincides with the slow downs? I didn't pay attention to the times that I experienced it. Greater latency during peak times would mainly indicate they just don't have the CPU and Bandwidth to handle the load, ergo the Upgrade would help or just be limiting again down the road. At least for me I have only experienced high latency (i.e., slow response).

Yes, lightning fast right now. Keep your fingers crossed that they juggled the servers and we'll be cooking for a while.

The last week has been painful accessing the site. 50% of the time I get a 500 error.

Loading threads and posting takes an eternity more than before. I get this for both the forums and the wiki content side.

Anyone else also experiencing this? It just seems the ratio of poor performance has increased.

I think the main problem is that today is Tuesday. The board always has problems on days that end in "y".

I agree though. It has been terrible lately.
