Some of my thoughts on this...

Moderating this board is easy. Just delete a few posts, censor a few words, and move some posts around. It's the admin duties that are hard.

He already is...and moderating is simple with this crowd.

I like this idea.

Trail Master is only responsible for the Adopt-A-Trail. He is not responsible for club runs. He should already be a moderator of the Strawberry forum.

Fred did a great job shifting the site over and he does a great job keeping out the riff-raff.

Doing it is easy. The politics around doing it are a pain.

You just have to suck it up and do it. I was a moderator here for a while. I had to do some of the stuff I mentioned. It might upset a few but we do it for the good of the club. People understand that. But like I said, with this great group of guys, it's an easy job.

I would have to disagree with you John on the trail Master position. As below per the By laws --
The Trail Master also monitors Posse member activity at events/runs and addresses problems if they occur.
Trail Master - This position is responsible for maintaining the club’s relationship with the USFS, coordinating the two annual maintenance runs, and managing the replacement of trail signs due to vandalism or wear. The Trail Master also monitors Posse member activity at events/runs and addresses problems if they occur. This position serves a one-year term.
