I posted it just as I was leaving a coffee shop in Auburn where I went to get internet. I guess I forgot to upload the pics before signing off. Updated post from a coffee shop in Meadow Vista. No power, internet and reliable cell service at home sucks. Fortunately I can watch the news and other TV by running Dish Network off my generator.

Grass Valley update. Starting day number five with no power. I had to clear eight down trees just to get out of my neighborhood. I have 10+ down trees across my property. One tree took out our Ford Explorer. Totally awesome snowstorm. Lots of carnage for the trees. But that’s mother nature. The Jeep saved the day for me, lots of snow wheeling to refill on gas for the generators and getting food for the family. Can you say Fabulous snow wheeling!

Yeah incredible snow totals for lower elevation areas. Lots of clean up. The substation for lower pollock pines area was damaged. Power restoration January 10th. Pge updated us with that information Wednesday.

I have a propane/gas generator if you need another one to get you by... I'm about 5 miles from Auburn if you need it
