My new favorite is Pennywise and of course I still like Bad Religion. Still wouldn't go to any concerts...

This will be my first time seeing Social Distortion.

The new CD is decent, but I just downloaded it last night and haven't listened to it all so I can't give much of a review yet.
Social D is usually good in concert. I think this will be the 4th time I've seen them. It is weird because the first time I saw them was about 14 or so years ago. Mike Ness has definitely aged in that time. The first time was just non stop rocking. The more recent times he stops between songs, talks, catches his breath then gets back at it. I saw them play at the Davis gym once. Terrible place to play a show and a weird crowd. He called the kids up on stage and somebody brought a kid that was around 5. Still rocked. The last time I saw them they were ok. They really did mostly Ness' solo stuff and it was a bit honkey-tonk-ish. Not really what I was hoping for. I have high hopes for this show since I dig Lucero too.

Offline Tonights show in Modesto was canceled due to a "flu outbreak". I wonder what this means for tomorrow nights show? It's not like you can get over the flue over night.
