Took the Jeep to the shop :(

I brought my jeep in this morning to get a body lift put on. As soon as they put the jeep on the lift and got it off the ground the right front wheel drooped badly. The left side was almost as bad. So much for getting a body lift had to replace both front bearings. Guess I will start saving for the hub conversion kit.

Good thing you found out about it now rather than a more dangerous time. The hub kit is on my wish list too.

Can you just replace the bearings? Or are these a sealed unit where the whole hub has to be replaced?

That sucks. Those can't be cheap.

When I replaced one on my front end, it wasn't expensive and only took me an hour to install. I'm sure professionals can do it faster, but it was pretty easy to do.

The YJ ones cost about 60+ dollars more then the TJs 🙁 $185 a piece. I had them do the work since it was already up on the lift and the passenger side was to bad to put back on and drive with it.

Was it $185 installed, or plus labor? Hopefully, it was the cheaper option.
