Just wanted you all to know, if you didn't, about the newer Uhaul trailers.

I used one of the new types of Uhaul trailers when I moved down to Nipomo. It worked great and the size was more than needed.

The only thing I wanted to say was that, as you might guess, the tire straps they provide are too small, so I wrapped them over my front axle instead (see picture below) or use your own straps.

If you get a Uhaul truck at the same time, it is $70 for 3 days (I assume this changes with what you are doing). The trailer itself is $140 for 3 days. This was for my move from Rocklin to Nipomo, about 330 miles

So, it would probably run around $300 for the Hammers trip. Something to think about.
