Some different results have been discussed about where you go when you click on certain parts of the forum. I'll try to explain how things work.

On the main board index, if you click on the last post topic on the right hand side it will currently take you to the last post of the last topic. Other options for this are to take you to the first post of the last topic or your first unread post of the last topic. Since this is a "mod" and author provided the options I can change this if the majority want it.

On the main board index you see the last topic posted to on the right. Just below the topic title is the person who posted last. To the right of their name is a little icon. If you click on that it should take you the last post in that topic.

If you're in a forum and click on a topic title it should take you to the first post on the first page of the topic.

For a topic within a forum, if you click on a specific page number it should take you to the first topic on that the page number you clicked. The page numbers are listed to the right of the topic titles and just to the left of the Replies count column.

For a topic within a forum, just to the left of page numbers (if there are any) should be an icon indicating there are new unread posts. I don't currently have any unread posts so I can't confirm at this time, but I believe this should take you to your first unread post in that particular topic. EDIT) This didn't work as I thought. The icon tells you there are new posts, but is not clickable and does not take you to the new posts.
