...somebody had to get some some work done. Once again, the man cave is a tinder box, but I'm ready for winter. 😀 For some reason Kelly lets me get away with spending time on this hobby/chore. lol Even I'll admit I went overboard this year. Something peaceful about running a chain saw. mr-green

I thought about it, but it would take a heck of a lot of work to make any reasonable money. It costs me a fair amount to get (saw upkeep, splitter, truck fuel, etc) and the bad economy seems to have dropped the cost of wood.

Is that enough wood to get you throught the winter? two winters? Less than one winter? How much do you use? With kids, the place needs to be kept warmer than when it was just the two of you...

We'll burn between three and four cords so I'll cut more next summer. We keep the house pretty warm. Occasionally I'll have to open a window when I get home because Kelly will have the fire cranking. lol

EDIT: I'm figuring that I have around 5.5+ cords.
