Work from home?

Anybody know of any non-scam work from home type jobs? Kelly's looking for some work over the next few months. Teaching jobs are lean with the State's budget mess and with gas going up in price it doesn't make sense to drive down the hill. Hopefully when school starts back up, she can substitue locally and she's got some tutoring work lined up. Just looking to fill some holes and I figured there has to be something, but most places look like scams.

Maybe something like those Sylvan centers.... Is there any kind of work for teachers where you can teach independent studies from home?

Out in the garage collecting parts....

She's dialed into the tutoring thing, they don't have much summer work though.

Is there any work in surrounding areas? I'd guess the economy is slow where you live. How about a temp agency for the summer, just doing some basic jobs for a few bucks (not just educational related)?

How about an Ebay business?

She could pick up old, discontinued Princess House, or Longaberger baskets, or other "home sales" type items at thrift stores, then sell them on Ebay.

Some people really get into the "the hunt" at thrift stores.

I made good money selling old Longaberger baskets and coach bags! 😀

I sold most on Craig's list, but I sold locally. E-bay may work. I set up a Fed Ex account and bought a scale to save as much as possible on shipping. Fed Ex Ground is quite reasonable.
