It got really quiet around here today :?
I'm getting the Jeep ready for Trek. Greasing joints, taking doors off, taking top off, and rigging up a rock light.
Anybody going to wheel a little with me while we're there?

I'm paying with sweat and wear-and-tear on my vehicle.
I figured we could do some wheeling after dinner when everybody is at camp.
However, it doesn't look like I'll have a wheeling buddy 🙁

I've got the Jeep and the motorhome to pack 😲
Fortunately, since we went out last weekend the Jeep is mostly packed, but I still need to add more stuff. Can't have too much stuff. 😂 It usually comes in handy though. 😛

I had to go do a site visit this afternoon and I've been "getting things together" all night. Packing is tomorrow. 😀

It takes us 3-4 evenings to get ready for a camping weekend. 😳 We're getting better, but there's always room for improvement. I admire those who can wait until the last minute and pack. I want to be like that when I grow up.
Admire me then...it'll take me about an hour before I leave to pack the Jeep 😏

I've even asked Scott how he does it. It didn't help.
I've learned to do without a lot of comforts when I go camping.
The jeeps so small I always take the same amount of stuff for a day trip of a 5 day trip, except for food and bevvies.
Still takes me way too long to pack.

When I'm going alone it's easy. A sleeping bag in the back of the truck and I'm fine. It takes me longer to pack the cooler than anything else.
It takes longer now that I don't have a garage and everything is stashed away all over the place.
Tent, sleeping pad, sleeping bag, chair, flashlight, clothes, and food (simple).
Breakfast = breakfsat rolls
Lunch = Uncrustables (ready-made PBJ)
Dinner = cold chicken and macaroni sald
No cooking supplies needed 😀
I keep it all (except food) in a cabinet in the garage. I just have to throw it in. In fact, for small trips I have a bag already packed that has all the above mentioned items already in it except the food is dried. I just throw it in the Jeep for every run.

Ugghhh...one of the best parts of camping is the food.
Breakfast = bacon, eggs, toast
Lunch = cheese/crackers/sandwiches, fruit
Dinner = ribs, lasagna, s'mores.
If I don't add a pound or so when I'm camping I've done it wrong. 😀
Of course I also have a stash of Cliff Bars in the truck for those unplanned adventures.
I agree that good food is great while camping. But, I eat like that every day at home, so it doesn't hurt to cut back while camping. The nice part is you don't have to pack/unpack any cooking gear and there is no clean up.
If I was going camping for more than a couple of days, then I'd bring more stuff or I'd run into town for a good dinner.
Wait a second...you forgot to list coffee! 😲 I know you're not planning to do without that are you?!!

Coffee requires a stove and coffee maker. We'll have to see if it gets packed...
I've got a stove that you're welcome to use, but, I've only got one of those perkolator type coffee makers.
