I sold my 2020 manual gladiator and got something new.
So after months of waiting for the custom order to come in and more months waiting for the recall to be sorted I am now driving a stock 2023 JT Diesel Sport S in the Earl color. So far the Jeep drives great and feels much more truck like then my 2020 JT did. The feel difference is due to the 500lbs of extra engine over the front axle and the significantly stiffer springs. The mileage started in the mid teens and is now in the mid 20 and still climbing as I only have about a thousand miles on it. This is a bit of an oddball build, partially because I wanted a soft top sport with a bunch of options and also because 2023 is the end of the 3.0 diesel and 2024 is the mid-cycle refresh for JL and JT. As a result I ended up with painted fenders, leather seats, and nicer tires and wheels than my order sheet showed.
Some parts from my 2020 will transfer over like the bedrack, tent, sway bar(maybe), zeon winch, bumper, phone mount, and car seats but I sold a bunch of stuff to Brian as the diesel engine isn't compatible with a bunch of the suspension parts I had on my old one.

Pocketing a very solid chunk of cash and having the same payment on the new rig has been a bit of a hit to my wallet with all these black friday and cyber monday sales. Build plan is Clayton 3.5 overland, falcon shocks, 38 falken wildpeak MTs, method wheels, rubicon axles with 4.88s, metal cloak ball joints, tonneau cover, and all the takeoff parts from the old one like rockjock soft front sway bar, bed rack with tent, winch bumper, and other minor interior mods.
