I recently became to owner of a 83 K5 Blazer and I'm kicking the idea of swapping it over to EFI and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a kit? I've heard about the Holly sniper kit, and edlebrock kit ,but I've seen several ads for Aces. Any insight would be appreciated!

I personally run the sniper 1 on the bronco.  The only sniper related issue I have had is the clips for the injectors are very poorly made.  I zip tied them together so they don't come lose.  I can't blame my issues last yeat at sierra trek on the efi system.  That was a user error when my fuel tank vent line became plugged and would not allow for the pressure changes in the tank as the fuel level decreased creating a negative vacuum.  Also, the self learn feature does not always work as well it is described to do, but easy enough to manually adjust with a little computer knowledge.  I have heard a lot of horror stories about them, but those mostly seem to end up being poor install related problems, mostly with wiring.  Feel free to reach out directly if you want some more specific info.  Overall, probably the single best upgrade I have done of recent years to improve driveablility.

I don't have any experience with doing these, but I would like to ask a quick question. Are you looking to just replace the carb and keep the rest as is? Or might you be willing to replace the intake and go with a multi port system?

Honestly no idea, just starting to research it now to see what's out there.
