OfflineI'm having 5.13 Yukon gears put in my JK. Jeff L's guy wanted $3,500 and I had to buy Spicer gears from them. I already have the Yukon gears and master build set and River City Differentials in Rancho Cordova said he'd put my gears in for $1,200. He looks really busy as his calendar is a month out. Any one have or heard about his work???
Thanks,
John

OfflineVery pro River City Diffs, very meh on Yukon products as they are just the cheapest white label gears with a purple sticker on them. Sometimes you will get lucky, sometimes they will howl from day one. Biggest issue with JK and JL gears from yukon is that they use the older 5 step machining process vs the newer and stronger 2 step process that Spicer and Revolution do. They newer process means thicker teeth and a measurable improvement in strength.

I had only recently heard of Revolution, and had no idea if they were any good. So this is solid info, thank you. My axles desperately need a regear.
