OfflineSo im trying to decide if I should swap out my transfer case to a rubi version with 4to1 or if I should install a rear locker. I currently have a truetrac LSD in the rear so I'm torn on which one would be the most beneficial. I'm kinda leaning towards the transfer case but figured I would get some input form experienced people here.

OfflineAren't they two different price points? I assume the locker upgrade would be half the price of the transfer case swap.
If they are the same price, I'd do the transfer case first since you have a limited slip already.
If the price is double it would depend on your budget, but then I'd suggest the locker first.

OfflineI think they are pretty close in price to tell the truth. I've seen a few Rubi t-cases on ebay for around 1k plus shipping. The other plus for the t-case is I can swap that myself vs having to pay labor to add a locker. I've never actually had a vehicle that had the super low t-case gears so I wasn't sure if it's worth the upgrade.

Go with the t/-case. (But that’s coming from the guy with two….lol). Seriously though - I find the ability to crawl slower with control is awesome.

OfflineI’m not going to lie, lockers were the single best upgrade to my truck for all around wheeling. Getting power to both tires and not having one spinning in the air is awesome. Just my opinion. As far as labor, talk t Sean at River City Differential, he’s a wheeler too and has fair prices.

Sean was the one that did my regear, locker, and LSD! His shop was a great experience. I went with a t-case though. Now I just gotta figure out exactly how I'm going to get it in.

The club hasn’t done a build party in a long time. Post it and invite club members to help you. Typically the host provides pizza or something but it is not required.
